Moisture control

Moisture intrusion can compromise building integrity, leading to mold growth, structural damage and increased maintenance costs. That is why you need a construction vapor barrier with exceptional moisture control and high puncture and tear resistance.

Surface protection

Polyethylene films serve as temporary barriers to protect building components. When applied to floors, windows, countertops and other surfaces, sheeting helps prevent damage from dirt, debris and scratches during construction.

Gas barrier

Polymer films can serve as an effective barrier for gas mitigation, creating a continuous and impermeable seal that prevents harmful subsurface gases, such as radon, methane and other vapor intrusions, from entering a building envelope.

Weather containment

During construction, specialized sheeting provides a cost-effective and durable solution for protecting worksites from environmental damage. Films can be wrapped around scaffolding, equipment and temporary structures to protect them from rain, wind and temperature extremes.

Technical standards

Fire retardancy, Vapor retardation, waterproofing and protective sheeting are all regulated primarily by ASTM International in the U.S., which specifies performance-based criteria like thickness, permeance and puncture resistance.
