Exceptional Tear and Puncture Resistance

At the core of the Dura-Skrim R-Series is a heavy-duty scrim reinforcement that dramatically enhances the film’s tear resistance. This scrim, made from high-strength polyethylene, responds to any puncture or tear by surrounding the area and preventing it from spreading further. This unique characteristic makes Dura-Skrim ideal for high-demand markets where accidental damage is a risk, such as construction enclosures, fumigation covers, or shipping and packaging.

UV Protection for Extended Outdoor Life

A standout feature of the Dura-Skrim R-Series is its ability to withstand harsh outdoor environments for up to a year. Both outer layers of the material contain high concentrations of UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers, which protect the film from sun damage, fading, and degradation. This UV resistance makes the R-Series a reliable choice for long-term temporary outdoor uses like erosion control and remediation covers.

Fire Retardant Option

For projects that require adherence to fire safety regulations, the Dura-Skrim FR-Series is engineered with fire-retardant properties that meet or exceed NFPA’s 701 test. The FR-Series provides the same high tear resistance and durability but with added safety, making it suitable for industries or settings where fire risk is a concern, such as construction sites or enclosed spaces.

Wide Variety of Sizes and Custom Sizes

Viaflex offers Dura-Skrim R-Series in a wide range of sizes, from 6 to 60 feet wide and up to 100 feet long, accommodating projects of various scales. Custom widths are also available, ensuring you get the perfect fit for your specific needs. The panels are accordion-folded and rolled tightly, allowing for easy handling and installation, saving time on large-scale jobs.

Easy Installation and Handling

One often overlooked benefit of Dura-Skrim R-Series is its practicality in the field. The film is accordion-folded and tightly rolled onto a heavy-duty core, which makes it easier to transport, unfold, and install. This user-friendly packaging can save time and effort during installation, particularly in large markets where handling bulky materials could otherwise be cumbersome.

耐用性

The film’s tear and puncture resistance, coupled with UV protection, ensures the material can withstand challenging environments.

Fire Retardant Options

The availability of fire-retardant variants increases the range of markets where safety is paramount.

Customizable Sizes

A wide variety of sizes and custom widths make it versatile and adaptable to different needs.

安装简便

The compact, accordion-folded packaging simplifies transport and reduces setup time on-site.

Outdoor Longevity
