The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate aging reservoirs in order to continue to provide reliable and safe drinking water to the service area. Hinkle Reservoir holds 62 million gallons of clean drinking water and services 4 water districts with over 330,000 residents. The original liner, installed in 1980, needs to be replaced after more than 40 years of use. Working together, we can successfully complete this critical infrastructure project and secure another 30-40 years of quality service from Hinkle Reservoir.

With expert installation and a future-proof design, this remarkable water reservoir project guarantees a secure and sustainable water source for future Aberdeen residents.
In 2022, Viaflex played a crucial role in providing 126 million sq. ft. of disaster relief film to areas around the world affected by natural disasters and war. In addition, our film was used to contain and clean up the East Palestine, Ohio community after a train derailment released several industrial chemicals into the local environment. Our film was also used in Ukraine as temporary roofing to provide much-needed relief in areas affected by war. Our commitment to providing sustainable solutions for disaster relief remains unwavering, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on communities in need.

Viaflex is proud to operate a state-of-the-art reclaim center to minimize scrap material generated during production. In 2022 alone, our reclaim center was able to successfully reclaim over 10.7 million pounds of scrap, which can be repurposed in up to 11 different Viaflex products.
At Viaflex, we have made 3005 green strides for a brighter future by replacing old metal halide lights with energy-efficient LEDs in our facilities. Our commitment to innovation aligns with eco-friendly practices, ensuring a more sustainable tomorrow.

Across all our operations, we have implemented innovative strategies that have led to a 48% reduction in energy consumption per pound manufactured from 2020 to 2022. Viaflex facilities celebrated Earth Day by participating in campus clean-ups and planting at various locations in April 2023.
The Sioux Falls team members spent a few hours cleaning up garbage, planting, and touching up landscaping on the campus.
A team from Parker, CO participated in the Adopt-a-Flowerbed Program. This program is through the Parks and Recreation Department of Parker, it is a volunteer-based activity where groups “adopt” and maintain designated flowerbed in the area.
Midland, TX planted flowers and tall grass to help build soil quality, while the Madison, SD location planted milkweed to support the monarch butterfly population, improve biodiversity, and help absorb contaminants.
Viaflex is proud to bring the Sioux Falls Neighborhood Soccer (SFNS) league to the Hawthorne Elementary community. SFNS unites communities through soccer for elementary-aged children, targeting low-income neighborhoods to build family and community relationships while closing the opportunity gap for kids in underserved areas. Together, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young children and creating a brighter future for the entire community.
The Viaflex leadership team helped support the Veterans Community Project of Sioux Falls in March 2023 by purchasing household items for the tiny homes and tools to help with building these homes. The VCP is a specialized community working to build 25 tiny homes with onsite support services, giving them the tools needed to return to a stable, prosperous, independent life.
In April 2023, a team of employees sponsored, prepared, and served a meal at The Banquet in Sioux Falls, SD. The Banquet is a non-profit welcoming place where individuals and families can get a complimentary, warm meal. The Banquet is a volunteer-based ministry and serves 16 meals per week at two locations in Sioux Falls.
